Common Core Curricula Changes
 
The new set of standards for math and English language arts is designed to get students across the country on the same page as they prepare for college and beyond.
 
Implementation started in several districts around the country this fall, and most states should have the standards in place by the 2014-2015 school year, when assessment tools tailored to the new requirements are rolled out.

LUSD has established a uniform complaint procedure (1312.3) for all relevant programs per 5 CCR § 4622 et seq . The district has a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of gender per Education Amendments of 1972, Title IX: Nondiscrimination.
