How to meet with your counselor

Counselors are available before, during, and after school to address student and parent concerns.  A student can request to see a counselor by filling out a Counselor Request card at the front desk.  A parent may schedule a meeting with a counselor by contacting the Counseling Department.  All conversations will be kept confidential unless a student’s safety or the safety of others is compromised.

Why Meet With Your Counselor?

  • Academics:  If you are having a problem with coursework and need suggestions on how to improve grades.
  • Personal/Social:  If you need to resolve a conflict with  others or are dealing with a difficult situation.
  • Career Development:  If you need guidance regarding your future or want to research colleges.
