Final Casting for The Diary of Anne Frank
Congratulations to the cast of this year's fall show based on the book Anne Frank:  Diary of a Young Girl, dramatized by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett.  Lompoc High Drama will present five performances of this production:  Friday through Sunday, September 28-30, and Saturday-Sunday, October 6-7, with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm.  Note:  The entire production staff has not yet been selected but will be announced soon.  See below for the cast list!

PCPA's "My Life = Art"
The performances of Making My Life Into Art based on our drama and ELD students' writing from November 2010 are now complete. Director of Outreach and Education Leo Cortez, who compiled the writing to form this year's play, is currently evaluating the program for its continuation (or termination!) next year. He is in need of letters of support from people who would like to see it continue in future years. Holiday Show 2010
in partnership with Lompoc Civic Theatre

Directing student Bailey Satterfield directed The Baddest Angel Band by Jerome McDonough as the LHS component to a joint holiday production with Lompoc Civic Theatre. LHS Drama Director Sarah A. M. Barthel, a member-at-large on the LCT board of directors, served as producer for the partnership production. LHS alumn (class of 2005) and current LCT member Maddie Triplett served as the production stage manager. Lompoc Civic Theatre Past President Marian C. Stave directed The Ballad of King Windowglass as the LCT offering. Thanks to all who came out for an enjoyable evening of holiday one-act plays.
Lompoc High Drama presents Our performance of The Nature of Music, a Relay-for-Life Benefit performance for the American Cancer Society, was a success, bringing in $1,294.56!
Thank you to all who attended and donated to the cause. We still have handmade beaded cancer awareness jewelry (bracelets and earrings) for sale.
