“Z” has been teaching math at Maple High School for over twenty years. He is passionate about students learning the math skills they will need to be successful when they enter the real world of work. His textbook of choice is Saxon, but he supplements with direct teaching and hands on manipulative activities, chess, tessellation-art and computer learning. Z puts a priority on connecting with his students and engaging them in mathematical and critical thinking activities. This year “Z” will be adding Geometry to his course list.
