SB 472 is a state approved professional development program for teachers. This intensive 40-hour training focuses on statewide academic content standards, curriculum frameworks, instructional materials, and instructional strategies. Each institute is based on the participant's district adopted program (in this case it is Houghton Mifflin Mathematics). Teachers must attend all five days of training, and may not miss any part of a day.
