Registration for LUSD 2009 Summer School is closed for all grades. Late registrations for grades 9-12 can be made on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 between 9 am and noon. These students will be placed on a waiting list and a high school counselor will evaluate their transcripts for placement priority. Only students needing credit recovery will be placed on the waiting list. The summer school office staff will not be available between June 15-18 as they setup the site offices. Questions can be answered by the summer school staff by phone beginning on June 19, 2009.

The Lompoc Unified School District is pleased to announce the opening of its 2009 Intervention Summer School Program on Wednesday, June 24, 2009. This targeted program is for students who are Below Basic or Far Below Basic in Math or Language Arts or who need courses for credit recovery. Students and parents should watch for a postcard notifying them if they are enrolled in Summer School. Students who applied that were not accepted will also receive a postcard notifying them of their status. Postcards should arrive around June 1 for elementary students and around June 5 for secondary students. Students who have been enrolled will receive their school information with program and bus schedules in the next few weeks prior to Summer School.
