A meeting of the Citizens’ Oversight Committee will commence at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2003 in the Board Room of the Lompoc Unified School District Education Center at 1301 North A Street, Lompoc, California. (Due to the lack of a quorum on September 4, 2003, no action was taken.)

Measure N Update

 

The Master Plan and Implementation Schedule will be reviewed. The Board of Education approved the Master Plan and Implementation Schedule at their October 14, 2003 Board Meeting.

IV.      Project Review (continued)



                                      Professional Services Agreement with School Advisors:

 

A Professional Services Agreement with School Advisors for assistance and expertise was approved by the Board of Education at the August 26, 2003 meeting. The following scope will be implemented:

 

                                      1.         Analysis Phase - Analysis of, and recommendation for, school modernization funding eligibility for each of our schools. Evaluation of state funding methods to maximize funding of the District’s modernization projects.

 

                                      2.         Optimization Phase - Assistance/advice to develop an implementation plan for utilization of site-specific funding eligibility. This will include recommendations to maximize the District’s eligibility for, and receipt of, modernization funding in the School Facilities Program.

 

                                      3.         Application Phase - Assistance regarding funding application process/procedure for identified funding sources.

 

                                      4.         Ongoing assistance will be provided.
