Remuneration and Reimbursement


Remuneration



Each member of the Board shall receive a maximum $400.00 per month for twelve months. Any member who does not attend all of the meetings in the month is to receive an amount determined by dividing $400.00 by the number of meetings held, multiplied by the number of meetings attended. Should any member be absent while performing designated duties of the school district, the Board may, by resolution, pay him or her as if they were present at the meeting. Other excused absences that may be paid are illness, jury duty or other hardships deemed acceptable by the board.



Reimbursement of Expenses


Member of the Board shall be reimbursed for all legal expenses incurred in attending any meetings or in making any trips on official business of the school district when so authorized by the Board.
