Bylaws of the Board

Methods of Operation

The Board has the power to establish its own procedures.

The Board shall concern itself primarily with broad questions of policy, rather than with administrative details. The application of policies is an administrative task to be performed by the Superintendent and his or her staff. The Board retains ultimate responsibility over the performance of the application of those duties so delegated to the Superintendent.

All action of the Board shall be taken only in official Board meetings called, scheduled and conducted according to these bylaws and the statutes of the state.
