We need to stop piling up junk at Old Maple HS and start selling it off to companies than pay per pound for electronics and other machinery. Here is an example company that does E-waste style recycling. http://electronicrecyclers.com/ There are many more companies out there offering money for e-waste.

Good idea and something the district has been investigating. The problem we have run into has been that Lompoc is a little off the beaten path and companies have to make a "special trip" which adds complexity in scheduling and coordinating. Nonetheless, the district will investigate this again.

LUSD has established a uniform complaint procedure (1312.3) for all relevant programs per 5 CCR § 4622 et seq . The district has a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of gender per Education Amendments of 1972, Title IX: Nondiscrimination.
