21. Require classified employees to use vacation leave down to the one-year carryover level

Require classified employees to use their vacation days such that there is not a vacation payout at the end of the year. 
A rested employee is a more efficient employee while on duty. Employees are encouraged to use their vacation days, but there are situations whereby utilizing vacation days is a detriment to district operations. This is an idea that will be discussed with school administration and the classified association.

LUSD has established a uniform complaint procedure (1312.3) for all relevant programs per 5 CCR § 4622 et seq . The district has a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of gender per Education Amendments of 1972, Title IX: Nondiscrimination.
