74. Eliminate CHS Lockers

Suggestion:

Eliminate street lockers at Cabrillo. It is the only site that still has street lockers. Innumerable staff hours would be saved (attendance, campus safety, custodial) and textbooks would not need replacing from water damage due to leaky locker bay roofs. Locks must be purchased EACH school year for the lockers (about half) that don't have built in locks. This would be a tremendous savings at Cabrillo.

This is an area worthy of consideration after consultation with CHS staff.

LUSD has established a uniform complaint procedure (1312.3) for all relevant programs per 5 CCR § 4622 et seq . The district has a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of gender per Education Amendments of 1972, Title IX: Nondiscrimination.
