He worked for a local (San Luis Obispo) service station for seven years, and worked for a local Nissan dealer as a Master Technician for over seventeen years. Mr. Moldt is a product of the ROP program, he was hired by the service station while fulfilling his ROP class requirements at San Luis High School.
