Tamara (Tammi) Martinez was born in Santa Paula, California but quickly moved to Ojai, CA where she was raised, worked, and went to school as a proud Nordhoff Ranger.  Her favorite subjects in school were mathematics and history, but she also played varsity softball and volleyball and enjoyed the many school clubs on campus.

Tammi received two B.A. degrees; one BA degree in Liberal Arts, with an emphasis in math, from California State University Stanislaus  (CSUS) in 2005 and her teaching credential in 2006. At the same time Tammi continued her education at CSUS to receive another BA degree (in 2006) in Theater of Arts with an emphasis in stage movement and stage management.
Tammi worked in the theater for several years while teaching. In all, Tammi has been teaching for 9 years in San Joaquin County and Santa Barbara County. She has taught every subject from theater to Math, from Language Arts to home economics, and from Intervention programs to P.E. and in all grade levels.
Tammi's currently teaching 4th through 6th grades Social Studies and P.E.. Her love for teaching has brought her to Lompoc, CA and this wonderful school where she looks forward to teaching students in all grades for many more years!
