    Brian Grimnes is delighted to continue this school year as an Assistant Principal at Cabrillo High School. He grew up in the Lompoc Valley attending local schools. Mr. Grimnes has earned degrees from Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and most recently through Brandman University. He also completed his secondary teaching credential through Chapman University. He has worked as an educator in both Santa Maria and Lompoc and is now entering his 19th year with the Lompoc Unified School District. Mr. Grimnes previously served as an Assistant Principal at both Lompoc Valley Middle School (4 years) and at Vandenberg Middle School (3 years), and as Principal at Clarence Ruth Elementary School (2 years). Mr. Grimnes desires to support the staff, students and families of Cabrillo High School and the tradition of academic excellence that has been established.


    While away from school Mr. Grimnes enjoys spending time with his wife, Courtney, and their four children, Britney, Madison, Skyler and Ellie. As a family they enjoy going to the beach, camping, watching movies, playing games, and just simply relaxing.
