Mrs. Perla Lewis
Mrs. Lewis comes to Lompoc High School from Solvang, a small Danish town 30 miles from Lompoc. She attended Santa Ynez High School where she was involved in volleyball, basketball, track & field, FFA, Interact Club, and Mock Trial. Ms. Lewis was also a founding member of the SYV Coalition to Promote a Drug Free Youth and was appointed as the first juvenile to serve on the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission. Upon high school graduation, she attended Santa Barbara City College after high school and then transfered to Fresno State University. Following graduating with her B.A. degree, Mrs. Lewis enrolled in Antioch University, Santa Barbara where she obtained a Multiple Subject credential, Education Specialist credential and her M.Ed in Education. After graduation Mrs. Lewis landed a job with Lompoc Unified School District as a teacher and volleyball coach! When she's not teaching, she enjoys volunteering in her community and going to sporting events and spending time with her husband and newborn daughter, Sadie James.
