    Sheila MacFarlane
    5th Grade

Hello and welcome to 5th Grade!

My name is Sheila MacFarlane and I am very excited to be teaching fifth grade this year. I began teaching for Lompoc Unified in the fall of 1999 after earning my teaching credential from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Before that, I worked for the U.S. Forest Service as an archaeologist after having earned a B.A. in Anthropology from U.C. Davis. Since beginning my career in this school district, I have earned a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix as well as participated in a variety of training opportunities.

I am proud to be teaching at Crestview. Our Fifth Grade team works closely as part of a Professional Learning Community (P.L.C.) to meet the students' needs and challenge them to achieve their goals. I genuinely enjoy working with my students each day and am looking forward to another great year at Crestview!
