Jeffery Clark hails from Tempe, Arizona. Graduating high school in the early 1980's, he joined the U.S. Army in 1984. Jeffery served almost 10 years in a wide range of bases, including Washington, Texas, Arizona, Virginia, and also other places as sent. Jeffery is a disabled Desert Storm-era veteran. Upon completion of his military service, Jeffery accepted a position at The Lompoc Federal Correctional
Complex. He worked there for 22 years, first as a correctional officer for 7 years, then worked as an IT Technician for the remaining 15 years. Wishing to continue utilizing his computer skills, Jeffery obtained a part time job in Lompoc Unified as a Computer Lab Technician. He loves working at Fillmore and is committed to serving the needs of the students.
Jeffery has a degree in Information Technology and enjoys continuing education in his field.
Jeffery is interested in environmental issues; he volunteered for many years with Santa Barbara Beach Angels, an environmental group devoted to cleaning the beaches and animal rescue/rehabilitation. Currently, Jeffery and his wife are working in trail restoration in SLO County.
Jeffery is married to Cathleen, also a LUSD employee. They have 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren. All of their children attended and graduated from LUSD; his oldest daughter Anna is now a special education teacher with LUSD. Spending time with family and friends is a great joy.
Jeffery and Cathleen enjoy learning history, culture, and geography; as a result, they have devoted summers to visiting UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Russia, Estonia, Italy, and over 15 other countries. They also enjoy movies, hiking, beach time, concerts, and reading.
