• Isidro Carrasco   

    Mr. Carrasco was born in San Juan, Texas.  He was raised in Austin, TX and graduated from David Crockett High School.  After graduation from high school, he earned his degree in Economics from the University of Texas.  Additionally, he earned a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Masters of Education from California State University, Fresno. He is married to Cleo A. Carrasco from Reedley, CA.  They have adult children, which they adopted in 2000, and one granddaughter. 

    Mr. Carrasco has been an educator since 1989.  He started as a second grade bilingual teacher in Texas.  He then became a high school Spanish teacher in Tulare, CA, at Tulare Union High School.  He taught for 13 years and coached boys’ and girls’ soccer for eight years.  In 2003, he began his administrative career in the Houston, TX area.  After four years in Texas, he came back to Tulare, CA, to serve as principal of Mission Oak High School for eight years.  In July 2015, Mr. Carrasco serve as a district administrator in Woodland, CA, and in January 2017, served as an Assistant Principal at Oakmont High School in the Roseville Joint Union High School district.  He joined the Lompoc Unified School District in July 2018 as principal of Cabrillo. He is excited to lead Cabrillo High School to prepare all students for an exciting future that will impact the lives of those around them.  He is committed to the success of all students at Cabrillo and to create an environment where both students and staff succeed.
