SolidWorks Certification is a 3-D Computer modeling class for adults. It is a free class that meets on the Lompoc High School campus, beginning October 1. This Certification Prep Class will prepare students to take and pass the CSWA test, which is internationally recognized evidence of beginning level proficiency for employment in this field.

This self-paced evening class has open enrollment, and can begin at any time during the 3 month Semester. The first class begins Tuesday, October 1 at 6:30 pm. Self-paced classes are 3 hours long on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Basic computer skills and the ability to read step-by-step technical instructions are the only requirements. The class size is limited to the first 15 enrollees. Participants will learn to draw a wide range of 3D objects. Students will be introduced to issues and limits of what 3-D printers can and cannot do. The Solidworks CSWA test is administered in the class at no cost.**

(**Note: Taking this FREE class saves students $99 as taking the exam without an approved class would cost $99).
