Mrs . Kendall Lopez is excited to begin her journey at Lompoc High School for the 2018-19 school year! She will carry on the role of Activities Director, A.V.I.D. Elective Teacher for 9th and 11th grades, as well as Career and College Readiness for 9th Grade. Mrs. Lopez graduated California Polytechnic SLO with a B.S. in Child Development and Psychology. She carried on her studies at Chapman University with Credentials in Multiple Subject K-6, Health Sciences, and Physical Education. In 2010, Mrs. Lopez completed her Masters of Education with an Emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. She has been working with the district for 10 years and has done various jobs from Title 1 tutor, Physical Education Teacher, and Elementary Teacher.
Mrs. Lopez is ecstatic to return to her Alma-Mater, a graduate of 2003. For 5 years she has been the Assistant Cheer and Dance coach, carrying on the tradition she believes to have helped shaped her into the coach she is today. She has been married for 9 years, and has two children ages 8 and 6. She spends her time away from the classroom teaching Dance at Boscutti Ballet Theater, traveling with her family, and is a part time portrait and family photographer.
