My name is Kayla Hadley, and I am the instructor for Bridge Academy and Independent APEX.
I am a lifelong resident of Lompoc and proud graduate of LHS. After high school, I attended Allan Hancock College and transferred to UCSB, where I majored in English and minored in Education and Applied Psychology. After several years of serving as a tutor for foster youth in Lompoc and Santa Maria, as well as a substitute for Lompoc Unified, I returned to UCSB for my teaching credential in English and Master’s in Education. I am a lifelong learner, and I am currently working on my Master’s in English, to be completed by the end of the year.
In my spare time I enjoy reading with my four year old son, cooking vegan food, and playing tabletop roleplaying games.
I am excited and proud to be a part of the amazing LHS community this year. I look forward to working with the wonderful staff and supporting our awesome students.
