• Hello Cabrillo Students and Parents!

Welcome to my webpage. I am updating this page to allow access to all of the materials that are needed for my Math 1 and Math 2 classes during this unorthodox break. If you are unable to head over to the Cabrillo Library to pick up the materials, you can access and print them from here.

    *******************************************************************************************************************

    Math 1:

The material is meant to help you maintain and keep your knowledge of topics that we have learned already this year. There are worksheets from each of the Modules that we have covered. There are no new materials that you are expected to learn on your own. I have posted this information on the Google Classrooms already with a message about the materials. I will also include a Pacing Guide for you to refer to in regards to how much work you should be completing each day. As with any other assignments, I expect you to show all work, no matter the problems. You DO NOT need need to complete the worksheets in your journals. Just do the work on the worksheets or you can use a separate piece of paper for each as well.

If you need help or a refresher, I will be posting examples (starting tomorrow) of the problems that should be completed in order of the pacing guide. If you need more in-depth help or have questions, please email me at lee.michael@lusd.org and we can either see if I can explain over email, or we can set up a time to talk via skype/zoom OR set up a time to discuss on the phone. I will be checking my email a few times per day, so please be patient and I will contact you back as soon as I get the message. Students, if you have not joined the Google Classroom already, please email me so I can add you. This way you will be able to see the examples that I post each day.

    Math 2:

There are three (3) packets that all of the Math 2 students are being given during this time away from the classroom: a set of Edulastic questions; a Volume and Surface Area, Compound Area, Quadratic, Graphing, Multiply Binomials and Review packet; and a large Skills packet. Please note that the first page of the Volumn/Surface Area packet is a reference sheet with different area and surface area formulas that you should refer to when you are solving the problems.

I have posted this information on the Google Classroom page already with a message about the materials. I will also include a Pacing Guide for you to refer to in regards to how much work you should be completing each day. As with any other assignments, I expect you to show all work, no matter the problems. You DO NOT need need to complete the worksheets in your journals. I know this is a surreal and unsure time...I feel exactly the same way. Just try and remain focused and diligent with your assignments. If you work on them each day, it won't be too much work, but if you wait until the last minute to complete, then it can become very overwhelming.

Students - I will keep the Google Classroom updated with any information and news I receive. Please make sure to check the classroom and your email daily to stay up on everything.

Parents - I will update this page with any important information you may need as well. Please feel free to contact me at my email (lee.michael@lusd.org) with any questions. Email is by far the easiest and quickest way to contact me.

Everybody stay healthy and positive. This is a weird time, but we will get through it as a class and community!

Take care of yourselves and I hope to see you all back in the classroom as soon as possible!

    Mr. Lee
