Mr. Montross has been teaching at Lompoc High School since January of 2018. He was born in Santa Barbara, CA and moved to Lompoc when he was 4 years old. He graduated from LHS in 2002. He went on to Allan Hancock and Oxnard College to pursue an Associates Degree and play baseball. Afterwards, he earned a scholarship to play baseball at Minot State University (North Dakota) where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Fitness. In 2018, he earned a teaching credential in Special Education from Antioch University (Santa Barbara, CA).
He has been married to his wife Lauren since 2016. They have a 10 year old daughter and one year old son. He also coaches girl's tennis in the fall and baseball in the spring. He is honored to return to his alma mater and work along side some of the teachers who inspired him. GO BRAVES!!!
