Started teaching at Cabrillo back in 2006 after moving from Bakersfield, CA. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education with emphasis in Athletic Training from California State University of Bakersfield in 1998. I also received my National certification in athletic training from National Athletic Trainers Association. At Cabrillo, I am the Department Chair of Physical Education and also operate the Sports Medicine program on campus. I want students to see how physical education affects your overall life, it's not just games! Fitness is a way of life. I also have vast educational experiences in athletics, exercise science performance, and physical education ranging from high school to professional. In the free time, I enjoy traveling to Professional Surfing and volleyball events during the summer, going to the beach, and leanr new exercises and fitness routines.
