Marjie Ledgerwood – Special Education
Classes: Transition Program
Marjie Ledgerwood is entering her 9th year of teaching within the Lompoc Unified School District, her 6th at Lompoc High. She teaches the transition program, students 18-22 yrs of age with moderate to severe disabilities. Ms. Ledgerwood currently coaches both the varsity girl’s tennis and softball teams.
Ms.Ledgerwood earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Science/Athletic Training from Indiana University where she also played softball for the Hoosiers. She received her Masters in Education from University of Phoenix.
Ms. Ledgerwood was born and raised in Lompoc, CA along with her 7 siblings, all of whom graduated from Lompoc High. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets, is an avid sports fan, and enjoys participating in various types of athletic activities.
