Richard Andrew (Andy) Newbre teaches Advanced Placement European History, Digital Photography and Yearbook. His teaching career spans 26 years with 10 years for Lompoc High School - Go Braves.
Academically speaking, MR. Newbre's teaching credential was earned at Chapman University (2001), a Master's Degree in Integrating Technology in Education from University of New Mexico (1996) - Go Lobos!, a Master's Degree in Applied Spiritual Theology from Mt. St. Mary's College (1992) - if you heard that St. Mary's is an all girls school. If you want, he would love to tell you all about it. Mr. Newbre's Bachelor's degree was from Loyola Marymount University (1988) and he has about 200 units in studio arts from 14 different colleges and universities "cause he's just a rolling stone." Mr. Newbre's family includes his wife, Laura - counselor at Maple H.S., a stepson and foster son who are in their 30's. When not perfecting lessons, Mr. Newbre paints, plays games, and cares for WAY too many dogs. He and Theodore Roosevelt share the same birth date thus:
