Welcome to Lompoc Unified School District. We are steadfast in our commitment to provide a quality education to the youth of this community. A vision of academic rigor and high expectations for all students remains the beacon that guides every decision made here at the district. As assistant superintendent of Education Services, I am honored to work with a group of professionals who are willing to support teaching and learning in ways that reflect our collective belief in preparing students to be successful in high school and at the collegiate level. This year will be shaped by the goals outlined in our Local Control Accountability Plan. While our accomplishments are many, we will rededicate efforts to address the practical application of Common Core strategies across content areas at all grade levels. 
 
This is a year of great ambition and promise. Every person's job is important. Students benefit when an organization shares a common vision of excellence and a belief that the work is honorable and makes a difference in the lives of the community's children. We in Education Services will strive to provide the infrastructure and human capacity to support teachers' and administrators' abilities to make great things happen. We know that we have work to do, work that requires commitment, focus and collaboration and we know that we will succeed. Let me affirm that each of us in Lompoc Unified School District wants to make a difference in the lives of our students. I am confident that certificated and classified employees alike will blaze a trail filled with accomplishment as we launch the best year yet for Lompoc Unified School District.
