LUSD School Closure

Today, following the recent declaration of a national emergency by our President, the Governor's Executive Orders, and the growing concerns for our staff and student safety, Lompoc Unified School District has made the extremely difficult decision to close all schools for students beginning Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3, 2020.

This includes all early learning and adult school activities as well. We are optimistic that we will resume instruction, but we will continue to evaluate what is best for our students, staff and community.

We will soon be sending out information on how families can get resources for at-home learning. Meals will begin tomorrow, March 16 at the identified locations as well as:

·         The Lompoc Library (on D St)

·         El Camino School (on J St.)

·         Maple High School

·         First Methodist Church (on G St. and North Ave)

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
