Wellness Committee

The Wellness Policy

The purpose of the Wellness Policy is to promote student health and wellness.  The Wellness Committee develops the District Wellness Policy, assists the District with implementation, assesses if it is being followed and how well it is working to achieve its purpose, and updates the policy as needed.  The Wellness Committee is seeking people who work in the District, parents of students within our District and/or community members who are interested in health and wellness, to serve on our committee.  Our meetings will resume in the school year 2021-2022.  If you are interested in serving on the wellness committee, please contact Michelle MacKinnon, Child Nutrition Services Director at (805) 742-3353 or  mackinnon.michelle@lusd.org
