Enrollment information

  • LEO serves students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade at participating LUSD elementary schools. The program is offered afterschool during the regular school year and during summer.

  • By law, LUSD prioritizes enrollment in accordance with California state guidelines for the ELOP and ASES programs. Once priority students are enrolled, remaining spaces are offered to other students on a first-come, first-served basis as availability allows. Read more about California Department of Education state ELOP guidelines here.

  • Download the ELOP Plan Guide for a full overview of how LEO is structured, what students can expect, and how the program meets California's expanded learning standards.
