The Lompoc Community Track & Field at Huyck Stadium is available for public use during designated hours when the facility is not in use by Lompoc Unified School District programs. Please review the guidelines below to ensure the facility remains safe and accessible for everyone.

An outdoor track and field stadium with a green field and red running track.

  • Public Access Hours

    Weekdays 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Evening hours currently closed due to lighting project.

  • Important Reminders

    Individual exercise only Use outside lanes (5–9) Stay within stadium area Use trash receptacles

  • Track Closed When

    School activities are in session Facility is reserved or rented LUSD observed holidays Hours may change during athletic seasons.

  • Groups or organizations wishing to use the facility must reserve it through the district's Civic Use system.

  • The following items are not allowed on the track, field, or fitness center:

    • Pets
    • Food, gum, or sunflower seeds
    • Drinks other than water
    • Skateboards, bicycles, or rollerblades

  • The following activities are not permitted during public access hours:

    • Climbing or using athletic equipment on the field
    • Accessing areas under the bleachers
    • Group practices, games, scrimmages, or training sessions

    Public access is intended for individual exercise only.
